CHANGE LOG
Changes
What was added or corrected, newest first. The archive's history is also kept in its git repository.
2026-10-02
- The archive keeps its own copies of the episodes: the player streams from the Internet Archive and switches to them when it fails or stalls.
- Pages open and close faster and never get stuck; a click or key hurries the animation, and one Back always returns to the map.
- Fixes for phones (no more sideways scrolling), the keyboard, resizing and the plain version's links.
- Interviews: sixteen interviews, panels and talks summed up with their main points.
- Every episode's full credits and the real-world things it refers to, six stills from each, and the series' whole staff on Makers, with the English dub's own credits.
- The game's credits, read from the game's own staff list: it settles who directed the game.
- Fuller characters (with spoiler folds), makers and timeline (fifteen more moments, better sources).
- The map works on phones, explains itself, and labels its nodes; long pages can be filtered; the player has keys and a volume slider.
- Press shows the scans it keeps; no more duplicate entries or research notes among the entries.
- The game's script: everything said in the game, series by series, in English and Japanese, read in order.
- Every game file plays its original audio or video, taken from the discs; "play on" plays them one after another.
- Characters link to the game files they speak in, and the file index can be filtered by who speaks.
- Episodes show their Weather Break end card; outside links show a Wayback Machine copy beside them.
- Pages you have read turn their node to the game's "seen" picture, as files do in the game.
- The map loads about half as much on a first visit; press / to search from anywhere.
2026-10-01
- Every game file now has its audio or video and its transcript, in English and Japanese, each with its own address.
- Every entry on every page has its own address, and the index searches entries, not just pages.
- A plain HTML version of the whole archive at /archive/, readable without JavaScript, with a sitemap.
- Scans the archive links to are mirrored here with their provenance, and every outside link has a Wayback Machine snapshot.
- New: Press, Gallery, Merchandise, the Japanese disc releases, Credits, Contribute and this log.
- Links to a page now open it at once, without the opening animation.
2026-09-30
- The archive opens: the map with three levels, the player, the episode guide, characters, makers, books, music, links, timeline and the game file index.
